Cheesy Wild Rice And Ham Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. white and wild rice mix
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
    dash of ground red pepper
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 lb. broccoli (mostly tops)
    1 (2.8 oz.) can French fried onions
    8 slices (1/8-inch thick) Virginia ham
Preparation
    Prepare rice as package label directs, removing any seasonings with sieve.
    Over medium heat melt butter; remove from heat.
    Add flour, mustard and pepper until smooth.
    Add milk returning to heat until thickened.
    Reduce heat; add cheese until melted.
    Set aside.
