Mrs. Truman'S Ozark Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 to 3/4 c. sugar (depending on apples)
    pinch of salt
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1 c. finely chopped apples, pared
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Pour into buttered 8 x 8-inch pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serve with cream, whipped cream or ice cream.
