Chili Rellenos Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large can (27 oz.) whole green chilies
2 c. grated Monterey cheese
1/2 c. chopped green onion
1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
6 eggs, beaten with 3 c. milk
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cumin powder
garlic powder to taste
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Place a layer of chilies on the bottom. Sprinkle with 1 cup Monterey cheese and 1/4 cup green pepper. Repeat this layer.
Mix the remaining ingredients except the Cheddar cheese and pour over the casserole.
Top with the Cheddar cheese. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
Cool 5 minutes before serving.
