Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 1/4 c. warm water
    6 or 7 c. Gold Medal flour (wheat)
    soft butter
Preparation
    Mix together water and yeast.
    Add other ingredients.
    Knead for 10 minutes.
    Shape, cover and let rise 1 hour in a warm place in a well-greased bowl.
    Punch down; place in greased loaf pan. Let rise 1 hour and bake 40 to 50 minutes at 375\u00b0.
