Custard Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 beaten egg yolks
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. scalded milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine beaten egg, salt and sugar. Gradually stir in milk; cook in a double boiler over hot water until mixture coats a spoon, stirring constantly. Add vanilla and chill.
