Red Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    7 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 bottle red food coloring
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar; add eggs, one at a time.
    Sift flour and salt, then add to creamed mixture along with milk.
    Add vanilla and coloring.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0 or until well done.
    Use favorite frosting.
