Sylvia'S Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground beef
    10 large potatoes
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 large cans string beans, drained
    2 large cans corn (whole kernel), drained
    4 large yellow squash
    5 large carrots, diced, cooked (2 cans, drained)
    salt to taste
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Saute ground beef and onions together.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Add pinch of sage, 1 pinch of mustard.
    Cook until brown; drain and wash off.
    Peel diced boiled potatoes, then mash boil beans, corn and carrots separately.
    Cook squash until tender (drain).
    In square 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Layer ground beef mixture, green beans, squash, corn, carrots, mashed potatoes.
    Cover with cheese.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until cheese is melted and browned.
