Apricot Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
1/4 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. apricot gelatin
1 large pkg. cream cheese, crumbled
1 c. diced celery (optional)
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk, chilled
1 pt. whipping cream (optional)
Preparation

Combine pineapple and sugar in saucepan; bring to boil.
Add gelatin, mixing thoroughly.
Cool and congeal slightly.
Add cream cheese; beat with electric mixer until well blended.
Whip milk; fold into gelatin mixture.
Pour into 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Refrigerate.
Makes 15 servings.
