Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Bran Buds
1 c. All-Bran
1 c. boiling water
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening, melted
2 1/2 c. flour
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
-
Mix salt
and soda with flour.
Pour boiling water over bran and
set aside.
Mix other ingredients and add bran.
Mix all thoroughly
and refrigerate.
(Can be kept up to six weeks when tightly covered.) Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
