2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
1 fryer chicken, boiled until tender
Preparation

Boil chicken until tender; cool.
Debone and set aside.
In mixing bowl, blend flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in shortening.
Add enough chicken broth to form dough.
Roll out on floured surface (thin).
Cut into strips and drop into boiling chicken broth.
Add deboned chicken; reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook 20 to 25 minutes.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
