Lentil Garlic Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. rinsed, dried lentils
4 minced cloves garlic
1 chopped onion
2 diced carrots
2 diced stalks celery
1/2 tsp. pepper
6 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
6 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
Preparation
-
Saute garlic, onion, carrots and celery in olive oil in medium soup pot.
Add lentils, broth, red wine, vinegar and pepper. Simmer 1 1/2 hours.
Serves 6 or 7 people.
