Nana Ruthie'S Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. pumpkin
3/4 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/8 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 c. half and half
2 unbaked pie shells (deep dish)
Preparation

Mix all ingredients well; pour into pie shells.
Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0.
Bake for additional 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
Makes 2 pies.
