Prune Cake With Butterscotch Glaze - cooking recipe

2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. allspice
1 Tbsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. coarsely cut, cooked, pitted and drained prunes
1 c. corn oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped nut meats
Preparation

Sift flour and other dry ingredients; set aside.
Beat oil and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
Add eggs, one at a time; beat well. Stir in vanilla.
Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
Stir in prunes and nuts.
Pour into 9-inch tube pan with removable bottom. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven about one hour.
