Ozark Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 Tbsp. flour, heaped
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. raw apples, diced
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all together thoroughly, starting with egg and sugar. Preheat oven 325\u00b0.
    Turn into greased shallow pan and bake.
    When done, cut in 2-inch squares and serve with whipped cream or sprinkle with powdered sugar while warm.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
