Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. round steak, cut in strips
1/4 c. olive oil
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. ground ginger
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. chopped green onions
1 green pepper, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 c. water
2 cloves garlic
2 medium tomatoes, quartered
1/4 c. chopped parsley
Preparation

Brown steak strips in olive oil, soy sauce, ginger and garlic until tender.
Add 3/4 cup water to mixture.
Cook on medium to low flame for about 35 minutes.
Add onions, celery and parsley. Cook for ten minutes on low to medium flame.
Add cornstarch to remaining 1/4 cup water.
Stir into skillet and heat until thickened.
Serve over cooked rice.
