Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) graham cracker pie shell
    4 c. fresh strawberries
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 small box strawberry jello
Preparation
    Slice and place strawberries in pie shell. In saucepan, combine water, sugar and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to full boil. Cook 3 more minutes until mixture is thick and clear. Add package of jello and blend. Pour over berries while still hot, making sure that all berries are covered. Chill in refrigerator. Do not cover with plastic wrap until completely set.
    Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip topping.
