Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1 1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl.
    Beat at medium speed until well blended. Beat egg into creamed mixture.
    Combine flour, salt and soda. Add to creamed mixture until blended.
    Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
    Drop onto ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies or 11 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies.
    Makes 3 dozen cookies.
