Hot Chicken Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked chicken, diced large
    3 c. celery, thinly sliced
    1 1/2 c. bread cubes, toasted
    1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 tsp. sugar
    3/4 c. almonds, sliced and toasted
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3 tsp. grated onion
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. curry powder (optional)
    1 c. crushed potato chips
    1/2 c. mild Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    In large bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice, grated onion, salt and curry powder.
    Add chicken, celery and bread cubes; toss lightly to mix.
    Place in 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle with crushed potato chips, then cheese.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until hot.
    Serves 8.
    Wonderful for ladies' luncheons or when company arrives unexpectedly.
