Cream Cheese Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. Knox unflavored gelatine
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 pt. whipping cream or 2 to 3 envelopes Dream Whip
Preparation
    Heat pineapple and sugar until sugar is dissolved.
    Dissolve in cold water the gelatine.
    Add to mixture.
    Let cream cheese soften at room temperature, then add to pineapple mixture.
    Let set until partially set.
    Whip the cream and fold in.
    Chill. Serve on lettuce leaf.
    Top with cherry.
