Whole Wheat Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients, mixing well; cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Add buttermilk, stirring until moistened.
