Day-Ahead Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 c celery
    1/2 t pepper
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 box frozen peas
    1 1/4 c mayonnaise
    1 t sugar
    Parmesan cheese, grated
    bacon bits
Preparation
    Layer the lettuce, celery, pepper and onion in a dish.
    Top with the frozen peas but do not mix.
    Add mayonnaise and sugar but do not mix.
    Top with Parmesan cheese and bacon bits.
    Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate overnight.
    Toss when ready to serve.
