Strawberry Sour Cream Jello - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    2 medium bananas, mashed
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Add all ingredients, except the sour cream.
    Pour 1/2 the mixture into a cake pan (8 x 8-inch).
    Let chill for 1 hour.
    Spread sour cream over the gelatin.
    Spoon remaining mixture over the top.
    Chill.
