Hash Brown Scallop - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1/4 c. sliced green onion
    1 c. sharp American cheese, shredded
    1 chicken bouillon cube
Preparation
    In a 1 1/2-quart casserole, combine potatoes, cheese and onion.
    Dissolve bouillon cube in 1/2 cup of boiling water.
    Pour over potato mixture.
    Dot with 1 tablespoon margarine.
    Bake, covered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until potatoes are done, stirring gently once or twice.
    If desired, top with triangles of cheese and bake until cheese melts.
    Serves 6.
