Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. cherry gelatin
    1 can dark sweet pitted cherries, drained (save the juice)
    1 can pineapple chunks, drained
    1 small pkg. cream cheese, cut into cubes
    1 small pkg. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin as directed on package.
    (Can use reserved cherry juice as part of cold water, if chilled.) Refrigerate gelatin until partially set.
    Add fruit, cream cheese and nuts. Return to refrigerator until firmly set.
