Refrigerator White Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    3/4 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 egg
Preparation
    Soften yeast in warm water.
    Combine milk, shortening, sugar and salt and add.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add 1 cup flour; beat well. Beat in yeast mixture and egg.
    Add remaining flour; beat well. Place in greased bowl; grease top and cover.
    Keep in refrigerator 2 hours, or until needed.
