Chocolate Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. light corn syrup
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 unbaked pastry shell (9-inch)
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In double boiler, melt chocolate and butter together.
    Combine corn syrup and sugar; simmer 2 minutes in separate pan.
    Add chocolate mixture and cool.
    Add salt to slightly beaten eggs.
    Slowly dribble syrup mixture into eggs stirring constantly.
    Blend in vanilla extract and nuts.
    Pour into shell; bake for 35 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream. Serves 8.
