Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. washed prunes
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. each: allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Blend sugar and oil; add eggs.
    Mix well.
    Add milk and sifted dry ingredients a little at a time.
    Add vanilla, prunes and nuts. Bake at 300\u00b0 in ungreased pan for 1 hour.
    Leave in pan until served.
