Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 large eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chopped apples
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Place sugar in a bowl.
Add oil and eggs; beat well.
Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon, soda and salt.
Add flour mixture to egg mixture and blend.
Add pecans and apples.
Pour batter into greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until it tests done.
Serve warm and top with ice cream or Cool Whip.
Yields 15 servings.
