Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. mashed ripe banana (about 2)
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with banana, blending well after each addition.
    Stir in nuts.
    Pour into well greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes until done.
    Remove from pan; cool on rack.
    Wrap and store overnight.
