Ms. Linda'S Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and shortening.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Combine flour, soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
    Drop dough by scant 1/4 cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Cool slightly on cookie sheet.
    Remove to wire rack.
    Yield:
    2 dozen.
