Frontier Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. Bisquick baking mix
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. anise extract
    3/4 c. coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
    1/2 c. mixed candied fruit
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Blend baking mix, sugar, eggs and milk in large mixer bowl on low speed for 1/2 minute, scraping bowl frequently.
    Beat 3 minutes on medium speed.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Pour batter into greased and floured loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch).
    Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan.
    Cool thoroughly before serving.
