Cornpatch Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. white or yellow corn meal
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 can cream-style corn
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Stir boiling water into corn meal, mixing thoroughly.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Stir quickly until just mixed.
    Place in very hot, generously buttered skillet or casserole.
    Bake in moderate oven at 375\u00b0 about 40 minutes or until nicely done. Serves 5 to 6.
