Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water until it forms a hard ball in water.
    Then add nuts and cook until peanuts are golden brown, stirring constantly.
    Take from stove and add vanilla and butter. Stir well, then add soda.
    Stir well and pour into greased pan.
    A big cookie sheet is best.
    Be sure you pour it into a tin pan so when you press on the bottom it will come out easy.
