Lunchbox Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Melt butter and shortening in large saucepan over low heat. Stir in cocoa.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir in chocolate mixture.
Add nuts and mix well.
Spread in well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes. Spread frosting while brownies are still warm.
