Ingredients

1 1/4 c. cake flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. milk
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 Tbsp. melted butter
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation

Sift flour, measure and add baking powder, salt and sugar; sift once
more.
Add milk to egg yolks.
Add flour mixture gradually; mix to smooth batter.
Add butter. Fold in egg whites. Bake on hot, greased griddle.
