Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 (No. 303) can fruit cocktail
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. English walnuts
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients into bowl.
    Add egg and fruit cocktail. Mix and pour into prepared 9 x 12-inch pan, a smaller one may be used.
    Sprinkle the brown sugar and walnuts over the top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
    Delicious with whipped cream or ice cream.
    Stays moist a long time.
