Skillet Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. dates
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. nuts
Preparation
    Melt butter in skillet.
    Add chopped dates.
    Combine sugar and egg, then add to skillet mixture.
    Stir over low heat 3 to 5 mintues.
    Turn off heat.
    Add vanilla, nuts and Rice Krispies. Cool slightly, then form into balls size of walnuts.
    Roll in powdered sugar or coconut.
