Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    4 c. flour
    6 large very ripe bananas, mashed
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream together butter
    and
    sugar.
    Add
    eggs, one at a time, beating
    well after each addition.\tSift dry ingredients together and add
    to
    creamed
    mixture.
    Add bananas and nuts. Pour into well greased loaf pans and bake at 250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 from 1 to 2 hours. A few of the pecans may be saved for sprinkling over the top of each loaf before baking.
    Yield:
    2 loaves.
