Best Cake In The World - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    1 c. sugar
    1 small instant vanilla pudding
    coconut, chopped nuts and chopped maraschino cherries for decoration
    1 (20 oz.) can undrained crushed pineapple
    4 sliced bananas
    12 oz. carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake mix as directed on package in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Boil for 5 minutes the pineapple with juice and the sugar.
    Pour on top of hot cake and cool.
    Add bananas on top.
    Sprinkle with instant vanilla pudding.
    Top with Cool Whip, then sprinkle with coconut, nuts and cherries.
    Put in refrigerator for a day or two.
