Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 c. plain flour, sifted
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Sift salt and pepper with flour; fold in butter.
    Let cheese be at room temperature and work until smooth.
    Add to flour; mix until smooth.
    Roll thin and cut into strips.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
