Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. cold coffee (add 1 tsp. soda to the coffee)
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. boiling water

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs, one at a time, and blend.
Add coffee.
Then add dry ingredients.
Lastly add hot water.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
