No Bake Bread Dough And Paint

Add glycerin and coloring.
Mix well.

Slippery Finger Paint

Mix detergent and starch together till mixture is soft and damp throughout.
Add enough food coloring or paint to get the color you want.
If you put this paint on too thick, the paint chunks will fall off when dry.
When picture is dry, it may be sprayed with hair spray to keep paint from chipping.

Cornstarch Finger Paint

Mix the cornstarch with the cold water first, until you have a smooth paste.
Stir in the boiling water.
Add a squirt of liquid detergent to make the paint easy to claen off things.
Color it with vegetable dye or tempra paint.
The dye will color your hands a little and could stain clothes too.
Let the finger paint cool before you use it.
Shelving paper, sunny side up, makes good finger paint paper.

Edible Finger Paints(Gelatin Paint)

Supervise as you have children follow these steps:
Wet finger paint paper on the glossy side.
Sprinkle 2 to 3 tablespoons of dry gelatin on the wet paper.
Use as a finger paint.

Quick Finger Paint

Add tempera paint to liquid starch and stir.
Paint on glossy shelf paper or butcher paper.

Mix equal parts of flour, salt and water in a bowl; add tempera.
Pour mixture into plastic squeeze bottles.
Show the children how to squeeze the puffy paint onto paper in lines or dots.
Encourage to experiment with different designs and patterns.
Puffy paint hardens when it dries, approximately 24 hours.

Mix sugar, cornstarch and flour.
If using food color, add color to water and then to mix.
If using powdered paint, add to dry mix, then add water.

Add boiling water and cook until mixture becomes transparent or glossy looking.

Let mixture cool a bit, then add soap flakes, stirring until evenly distributed.

Combine all ingredients and stir well.
Put in old mustard, catsup or glue bottles with a needle nose.
Squeeze paint out on heavy paper for a puffy design.

Cornstarch-Based Paint

Mix cornstarch with cold water to make a smooth thick paste. Stir in boiling water to a desired consistency.
The mixture should immediately become thick, lose its white appearance and turn fairly clear.
Spoon the mixture into paint cups or jars. Add liquid tempera and stir.

Homemade Finger Paint

Add starch to water.
Stir over heat until thick.
Add detergent and stir well.
Divide into small jars.
Color with tempera paint or food coloring.
Keeps in refrigerator.

Add hot water and cook over medium heat until mixture thickens and changes from white to a darker color.
