Cook squash in boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes or until tender.

Drop mixture by teaspoonful into hot oil.
Cook until golden brown, turning only once.

Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten.
Press 3 to 5 M&M's into each cookie.
