Make Rich Tea Biscuit dough, adding more milk to make a drop biscuit dough. Spread the dough 1/2 inch deep in an oblong 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Peel and pare apples; cut in eighths. Press apple slices into top of dough very close together. (It won't hurt if more than a layer thick.) Dot with butter or oleo. Mix cinnamon and sugar together.
Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done. Serve warm or cold with Lemon Sauce (recipe follows).

This recipe makes enough sauce for about

Grind mustard seeds in a spice grinder or mortar and pestle. Add tumeric, tamarind puree and 1/2 cup water to form a liquid paste.
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in heavy sauce pan. Reduce heat to low and add onions and garlic and fry until golden. Add cauliflower and fry until lightly brown, adding more oil if necessary. Add the chili and fry for 1 minute.
Add the liquid to the pan, cover and cook until cauliflower is tender. You may have to add more water.
Heat oil in large deep pan ( 12 inch diamter and 4-6 inches). Saute onions until tender (about five minutes).
Throughly mix up the spices, cardamon, tumeric, coriander, chili powder, and garlic in a small measuring cup.
Add chicken to the pan and cook until pink is gone.
Sprinkle dry spice mixture over chicken until throughly coated.
Add water and almond milk. Stir until mixture begins to boil.
Add diced tomatoes, black beans, chick peas, and lemongrass.
Cover, reduce the heat to low and let simmer 30 minutes.
Marinade:
Peel and crush the garlic and; and ginger, mince fine; finely slice the onion; snip the parsley and chop coarsely. Combine the garlic, ginger, onion, parsley, cumin, chili powder, tumeric, oregano, olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, sherry, and the crushed red chili pepper.
(The marinade can be frozen and reused once or twice.)
Comb. pears, peppers, and onions. Mix salt and water and pour over mixture. Use enough water to cover. Let stand overnight. Drain and rinse with fresh water. Comb. vinegar, tumeric, sugar and mustard seed in large roaster. Bring to boil for 5 min. Add pears peppers and onions and cook 15-20 min. Put in sterile jars and seal. Yield 8-10 pints
