To make Simple Oatmeal Cookies: Mix the flour, baking soda

Last, stir in chocolate chips or other ingredients.
Drop by spoonfuls and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.

Mix first 6 ingredients.
Mix flour, salt and soda; stir in. Stir in wheat germ and part of oatmeal.
Keep adding oatmeal and rest of ingredients.
Work with hands.
Drop large tablespoons on cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Take out and scrunch up!
Makes about 3 dozen.

Beat the butter, shortening
Combine eggs, raisins and vanilla and let stand for 1 hour. (Very important secret of good cookies.)
Thoroughly cream shortening and sugars together.
Sift dry ingredients into mixture and mix well.
Blend in egg mixture, oatmeal and nuts.
Dough should be stiff.
Melt white chocolate in a double boiler, spread evenly over the bottoms of the cookies. Break up the milk chocolate bar into 10 pieces, and place 1 piece onto the white chocolate side of 10 cookies. Place the marshmallows on top of the milk chocolate. Top with the remaining cookies, creating a chocolate-marshmallow sandwich.
Toast cookies over a campfire, or stove using tongs until the chocolate and marshmallow has melted, about 3 minutes.
In ungreased 1 1/2-quart baking dish, combine 1/2 of crumbled cookies, apples, dates, sugar, orange juice and butter.
Blend remaining cookies with nuts.
Sprinkle over apple mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until apples are tender.
Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
Combine sugars, shortening, eggs, vanilla, baking soda, baking powder, salt and milk.
Beat until smooth and creamy.
Mix in flour, then oats.
Optional ingredients are chocolate chips, 3 teaspoons cinnamon, raisins, nuts or coconut.

Boil together water, apple and raisins for 3 minutes.
Drain well and squeeze out excess water.
Place raisins and apple in mixing bowl.
Add shortening and apple juice.
Cool.
Add eggs to this mixture.
Sift together the flour, salt and spices.
Combine flour mixture, oatmeal and nuts with the apple/raisin mixture. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Yield:
20 servings of 2 cookies each.
Cream margarine, brown sugar and sugar and set aside.
Mix flour, salt, soda and part of oatmeal.
Set aside.
Mix eggs and vanilla and add to sugar mixture, then add flour mixture and remainder of oatmeal.
Finally, add raisins.
Drop on greased tin and bake about 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Creme together butter and sugars.
In separate bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter and sugar mixture. Mix well.
Add amount of oatmeal you prefer. Spoon together.
Roll into small balls and roll the ball in a bowl of 2 tablespoons sugar and one tablespoon cinnamon.
Place on ungreased baking sheet for around 7-10 minutes.
Let cool for one minute and transfer to cooling rack or waxed paper.
Mix all ingredients and form into several rolls.wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate 1-2 hours or wrap in ovenwrap of aluminum foil and label and freeze.
When ready to bake. slice into 1/4\" slices.place 2\" apart on greased cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0F.
Glaze tops when warm.
To prepare glaze.
Mix powdered sugar and hot water to make a thin glaze.brush the tops of warm cookies and let set to dry -- .
Mix sugar, margarine, milk and cocoa in a pot on stove. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
Add vanilla and peanut butter.
Take off stove and stir in 3 cups of oatmeal.
Spoon onto foil and allow to cool.
Cream together sugars and Crisco.
Sift flour, soda and salt together; add to sugar and Crisco.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix 3 cups of oatmeal.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
Cook sugar, cocoa, margarine, milk and salt about 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add 2 1/2 cups of oatmeal and 1/2 cup peanut butter. Beat well.
Drop by tablespoon on wax paper and let cool.
