Place the broccoli into a steamer insert and

Whisk olive oil, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
Separate broccoli florets from stem. Trim and discard bottom off stem. Peel stem with a vegetable peeler or paring knife and slice cross-wise into 1/4-inch-thick pieces. Add florets and stems to oil mixture and toss to coat. Arrange broccoli mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Roast in the preheated oven until tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle lemon juice over roasted broccoli.

I sometimes add cooked turkey, chicken or ham for a complete one dish meal.

Cut stalks into florets. I find that small florets pick up a very crispy, delicious flavor! Throw in sliced garlic.
Toss with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Roast in the oven for twenty minutes. Check to see if crisp-tender, as well as crisp enough for you. (I roast at least 27 minutes!).
When satisfactorily roasted, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the broccoli, then top with the freshly grated parmesan cheese.

Preheat oven to 450. Toss broccoli with all the other ingredients. Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet. Spread them out in a single layer. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Roast 15 minutes. Toss them and turn them over and roast another 8 to 10 minutes until broccoli is browned nicely. Serve immediately. Yum!
Heat oven to 400*.
Break broccoli into medium florets and toss with remaining ingredients.
Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake 18-22 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through cooking time.
Remove from oven when broccoli is deep green with some darkened spots.

When butter foams, add the lemon juice and cook for 30 seconds.
Add the broccoli, lemon zest, salt, and pepper; cook tossing for 1-2 minutes till broccoli is well-coated.
