Grease three 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
First measure the oatmeal, salt, sugar and fat and pour the boiling water over them.
Let stand until lukewarm; dissolve the yeast in the 1/4 cup of lukewarm water and add it to the other mixture.
Stir in the flour and knead until smooth and elastic; let rise until double in bulk; form into loaves and let rise again.
Bake in a hot oven (400\u00b0) for 30 to 35 minutes.
This is delicious toasted.

Then add chips, candy and nuts.
Roll into walnut sized balls.
Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.

Makes 112 cookies.
Recipe may be halved.
Slowly add all ingredient to running, warm bath water.
Rest in tub for up to 20 minutes.
Combine oatmeal and flavourings in a deep, microwave safe bowl.
Add milk and stir to combine.
Cook on high power for 2 minutes, then stir.
Continue cooking and stirring at one minute intervals until the oatmeal is as thick as you like.
