Meatloaf -- In a large bowl, add

Transfer cooked bacon to paper towel-lined plates. Let cool for 5 minutes for bacon to crisp.
Wash and trim asparagus spears.
Cut bacon strips in half crosswise.
Wrap one-half strip bacon around each asparagus spear, leaving tip and end exposed.
Lay on a cookie sheet with sides.
Bake in a preheated 400 degree Fahrenheit oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until bacon is cooked.
Serve warm or at room temperature.

Prepare the potatoes as directed on the package except -- stir in the remaining cheese.
Spread the potatoes on the sides and top of the meat loaf.
Sprinkle with the crumbled bacon and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are lightly browned.
Serve hot.

For glaze, mix ketchup, brown sugar and vinegar together, set aside.
Saute onions and garlic in oil.
Mix onions and garlic with the rest of the meatloaf ingredients.
You may find it helpful to use your hands.
Shape into loaf, put onto a foil lined pan.
Brush half of the glaze over the loaf.
Wrap bacon around loaf, tucking ends under.
Bake approximately 1 hour, bacon should crisp up.
Cool 20 minutes before cutting.
Serve with extra glaze.
