br>Combine cream cheese and Gorgonzola cheese in a medium mixing
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Make toasts: Brush each slice of baguette with olive oil and season with salt. Toast in oven until golden and crisp.
Spread Gorgonzola cheese on toasts and top with 2 thin slices of pear. Drizzle honey over, then sprinkle walnuts. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Roll cheese mixture into 3/4-inch-round balls. Roll each ball in bacon, or pecans. Serve immediately, or cover and chill until ready to serve. If chilled, let stand 30 minutes before serving. Serve with apple and pear slices and grapes.
Makes 6 appetizer servings.
