Peppermint Foot Soak

Steep the tea bags in 1 cup of boiling water, letting sit 10 minutes.
Remove bags from water.
Dissolve epsom salts in 1 gallon of warm water in a bowl large enough for both of your feet to fit comfortably.
Mix tea with the epsom salt bath and stir.
Add cinnamon oil.
If water is too hot, add a little cold.
Soak feet for 15 minutes.
Feet will feel exhilarated and tingly.
Great for removing foot odor as well.

TO PREPARE SALT FISH: soak salt fish overnight in cold water, drain. Put into a saucepan, covered with fresh cold water, bring to the boil & simmer for about 15 minutes.
Fry the onion, tomatoes & pepper in heated lard or bacon fat.
Add the fish & mix thoroughly.
Season to taste.
Arrange the yam or potato slices to cover the bottom and sides of a greased ovenproof dish.

Dot with butter & milk.

Basic Salt Soak Bath Formula

Combine the sea salts, baking soda, and Epsom salts in a bowl.
Stir to blend.
Pour 1/4 cup or so into the bath while the tub is filling.
Add 1 to 2 tablespoons glycerin to keep your skin from drying out (more for dry skin, less for oily skin) and essential oils of choice.
Be sure to keep the glycerin and essential oils separate, adding them only to each bath and not the dry mixture.
Store any unused mixture in a glass jar with a screw top (I use mayonnaise jars).
